Legal Ops Career Paths?

Ive been recruited for a legal ops analyst position at a PE investment management company on the east coast. I like being at the forefront of tech and implementing new systems and finding out new ways to make the company i work for better. Does anyone have insight as to where a role like a legal ops analyst has led them later in their career? I guess I am having a bit of trouble seeing the outcomes in pursuing a path like this, aside from moving into head of ops or CLO Any insight is appreciated.
