My GF is looking to transition from healthcare tech into Legal tech. Would anyone be so kind as to give some advice for the transition/speak on their experience?

Title says it all. She is working for a large healthcare tech company and wants to move into Legal tech at some point in the future. Neither of us know anyone currently in legal tech, we are just hoping for some friendly advice/experiences!

- 3↑u/readerclubLow paid sector unless you are a solicitor. Constantly changing so need to be ready to learn a lot and be tech x legal savvy. Be really good at teaching tech to lawyers. Some of them act the same as how my parents act when they use facebook. Clueless.
- 2↑u/Total_While8763it will be challenging. there is an insane amount of demand for all positions right now, with legal tech being “cool” and all the other tech people getting laid off. someone trying to come outside of the industry is going to have a hard time getting their resume looked at. my advice would be to apply and have your GF come up with a reason for wanting to work there other than “AI is where everything is going” or something. you can DM me her resume and id be happy to look at it
