- 29↑u/xbox_sroxAI may not replace lawyers, but it is saving people who write low-quality LinkedIn posts a lot of time and effort
- 16↑u/HourPlate994Lol, this is still far from the worst I have seen.
- 13↑u/Low-Mathematician137LinkedIn feels like everybody is auditioning to become a motivational fridge magnet now. I miss when people just posted actual work and left it at that.
- 4↑u/iceman123454576so quit LinkedIn. Why are you helping Microsoft earn more $
- 4↑u/fabkostaUse that to your advantage: Every now and then post something that actually is not just pure garbage but well-argued and formulated. Don't use emojis entirely, or only very sparingly. Those people surfing LinkedIn will recognize exactly that. In a world full of AI slop, those people who sparingly sow something intelligent will stand out.
- 4↑u/not_my_real_name_2AI will not replace lawyers because judges need someone that they can hold in contempt.
- 4↑u/ikosuaveI hear you on the LinkedIn frustration. It can feel like a full-time job just keeping up with it. What exactly is getting to you? Is it the noise, the endless self-promotion, or something else? For me, I got tired of aimlessly scrolling, so I started treating it like a database instead of a social network. I regularly export my connections (you can download a CSV file from LinkedIn), then I try to actually \*use\* that data to figure out who I should be talking to. It's surprising how many warm connections I'd forgotten about. It's not a perfect solution, but it helped me cut through the LinkedIn clutter and focus on actual relationships that could lead somewhere. Figuring out what \*your\* goal is on the platform is the first step, then you can find ways to make it work for you instead of the other way around.
